$55.00

Metro Case MGRX100 hand grip for Sony RX100-3, RX100-4, RX100-5, RX100-6, & RX100-7 cameras. Note: There are two models for these cameras: one with an Arca-Swiss compatible quick-release, and one without.

The RX100 camera is a very powerful, but tiny camera. Built for pocketability, it can't be gripped like a larger camera without accidentally pressing buttons on the back; it pretty much must be handled with the fingers, which makes it prone to being dropped.

The Multi-Grip RX100 rectifies this, while adding very little weight or bulk.

The profile of the front grip is actually less than the profile of the retracted lens. The base adds 8mm of height, and the thumb rest on the back adds 6mm in a very small area.

Features: (specifications/design are subject to change without notice.)

  • Front grip

  • Thumb rest (doesn't occupy the hot shoe)

  • Easy thumb control of mode dial

  • The grip attaches to the tripod socket and protects the bottom of the camera.

  • Access to charging/USB and HDMI ports while attached

  • Secondary tripod socket on optical axis

  • Porthole for camera's speaker

  • Honeycomb structure in baseplate for light weight with maximum strength

  • 33 grams (1.1 oz.)

Note: Sony's design of the battery/SD card door hinges at the tripod socket, so there is no way to open the door with the grip attached. However the tripod screw has D-ring for easy tool-free removal and attachment.
